We are pleased to recognize six Volunteer Accolade Award Recipients for the time and energy spent supporting nutrition programs in schools and their unwavering commitment to student well-being. ˿����Ƶ’s Board Action Plan (BAP) identifies multiple priorities that connect to student well-being, and creating safe, inclusive spaces where belonging, well-being and mental health are centered.��

We are pleased to recognize two Volunteer Accolade Award Recipients for the many ways they cultivate strong relationships within school communities and enrich educational experiences for students! Strengthening outreach and engagement with students, staff, families, and communities is a priority in ˿����Ƶ’s Board Action Plan (BAP).����

For the past three years, Jackie Nicholls has been an active volunteer at Beatrice Strong Public School.��

“When delivering snacks and hot lunches to classrooms, Tammy calls students by name and makes a concerted effort to get to know each of them, students absolutely love her! She has a way of making everyone, staff included, feel valued and special,” shares Jennifer Pym-Murphy, Special Education Resource Teacher and Early Intervention Teacher.��

The��Passport to Reconciliation program��at ˿����Ƶ was launched in November 2021 as a way for school communities to work together and actively engage in broad-based collective learning and action year-round.

˿����Ƶ custodians work diligently over the summer to ensure our schools can, once again, open their doors to students, staff and families in the fall.��
